I just did the fans Saturday. I got some 05 fans and dug through my stash of parts and found a 2002 camaro v6 harness, took the relay box, stripped it for the fan wiring and plugged it in to the fans and pcm (camaro plugs work upside down in the fans but won't lock). Done pretty quickly. For tuning, I got the HP beta stuff, and copied a 2005 Avalanche settings for A/C pressure. Can't believe how much cooler the A/C got. I kinda like the camaro stuff, because I got all GM relays and Maxi fuses, besides that it cost me nothing. It pays not to toss your junk sometimes.

Yep! Same thing I believe.
I have the 99+ 0411 (LS1) PCM in my 98 Burb and have the twin thermo's running off the PCM.

If you have a Nelson Fan harness, couldn't you just take the tap off of the A/C clutch engage ground and put it on the PCM ground for pin 33?

A quick look at the the GM harness and a harness diagram I found on here that is probably like the Nelson harness shows that there are a few differences, but a ground is a ground, right?

The AC clutch engage signal wire is not activated with a ground.. It activates with +.

An older style harness would have to be rewired to accept a ground activation for both low and high speeds. Ive built a few like this, I use the GM schematic and its indeed different from the older clutch activated harness schematic.

Oh OK. I guess that explains it. Looks like I'll be changing up my harness a little then.

Nonnie, how do you do it on a 99-02? I have the 03+ diagram, but I can't really read it. I have had some 05 fans for like a month just sitting at my brother's house because I have no idea how to hook them up. I want to use both PCM pins because I have the new HPTuners beta version. Please help!
