Eaton and pulleys on the way!!!

Well, bit the bullet and got my Eaton on the way. Got a pretty sweet deal on it. $306 shipped!!!! I'm going for a January install. The pulleys are on the way as well. I see some guys are installing the alternator pulley and some are leaving it out. What do you guys think? I'm only running one amp now, my electric cutouts, and my three digital gauges.
My racing seats also arrived this week. They weighed in at exactly 20lbs a piece. :) I'm going to have to make some brackets for the sliders, but it won't be too much of a job. I'm really hoping for some good motor times this year. :drive:

i think come feb you should see some lower 12's. 12.3ish is my prediction.

Where did you get those seats from? :secret:

Are you putting 5 point harnesses in with those seats? Your seatbelts go away when you take those factory seats out. ;)

WOW, are you running all those mods and a 3000 stall TC without an Eaton?

Eaton rocks :)

Damn man. You may have started slow, but you seem to be making up for lost time post haste!! That thing is really going to be sick!! I cant wait to see what you can do once you step up and get a blower, turbo, or a little nitrous. :eek2:

Hey, I've been underestimated before. ;) I'm really going to be able to launch her for a change, so I'm shooting as low as possible.

You going to leave in the center console in ?
Are you gonna run the race seats just for the track or all the time ?
What brand did you go with ?

I got them from some company on ebay. Seem to be pretty good quality and light as hell. I'm trying to decide on my harness setup. I can't make up my mind if I want a true racing harness with the cam in the middle, or one of the street harnesses that just snaps like a seatbelt and has the shoulder straps and the lap belt. We're going to weld the bar across the truck behind the seats to mount the harnesses correctly.

I took the console out a while back, so I'm going to run the seats all the time. They're just a plain looking racing seat, can't remember what name is on it. I'll have pics up when I get them in.
