chevy/gmc production #'s how rare is my truck??
 

i was wondering if there is acces to the number of 5 speed v-8 sierras/silverados there are out there in production of the last few years..

i know my truck is rare but i would like to know exactly how rare. if anyone knows or could find out how many rcsb 5 speed v8 silvys/sierras there are i would greatly appreciate it.

most of the work trucks are 5 speed, 4.8's, aren't they? Well with the 4.8 option. If it was a 5.3 5-speed, I think that it would be rare because I don't think they offer the 5.3 with the manual.

Only 4.8 with a manual your truck isnt easy to find dont know an exact number.

I've also seen some e-cab's witht the 4.8 5 speed. Now those are rare!

yeah.. ive heard that there wont be any more v8 5 speed combos for next year. a guy from the gmc dealership told me this. but yes i do know the work trucks are more common. but who nowadays wants no ac and a crappy radio and power nothing..

they might be more common in other areas but ive only seen one around here and it was the regency rst sierra. there is one like it on this site too.

I got a 5 sp 4.8 as well. they not real rare you can find them if you look for them. bw I am not sure that 4.8 5spd is stock as they didn't offer a 1500 ext. cab in manual however you could get a 6.0 in a 2500 with a 5 spd or 6spd and duramax and 8100 were mostly 6 spd but a very few had 5spd. I only found one 8.1 5 spd and two 6.0 5 spds. I am looking to change over to the 2500 6 spd tranny and transfer case if I can find one they are not easy to get though.

I got one. When I was looking for mine I did like a 300 mile autotrader search and it turned up like 5. When I changed that to v8 rcsb any transmission it was like 200 or something ridiculous.

now 5.3 w/ manual...thats rare if not not made

according to gmc they are not made. i wanted one.
