Default Gtech Question

Is their any difference in accuracy between the $150 Gtechs and this one...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=46100

I'd like to get one and if the 30 dollar one is as accurate as the more expensive models I'll just get it instead.

Thanks

the g-tech you showed is a dinosaur compared to the newer ones. the one you showed has to be balanced perfectly in order to get close to accurate data.

here is a pic of mine. it is the g-tech comp. pro which cost me $250 when it 1st came out. it is probably cheaper now. you can mounted it in any position.

Ok thanks, didn't know if it was basically the same thing or not. I think I'll just hold off and get one like you have and mount it somewhere in there, yours looks good. I just hadn't seen those 30 dollar ones and i figured I'd snag one if they were descent but if its not gonna be accurate its not worth it.

the 1st pic is the one you saw for $30. this does not have the bells and whistles, plus you have to mounted it very level.

the 2nd pic costs anywhere from $150-300, i think they have a few new models out. mine came with a suction cup disc so you can mount it to the windshield. they also give you a permanent mounting device that screws in somewhere on your truck like mine. plus you can upload your results to your computer and print out graphs.
