Default Belt Length with ASP Pulley and 145A Alternator?

I'm going to be getting an ASP pulley and 145A alternator soon. I plan on getting just the underdrive crank pulley, not the overdrive alternator pulley (if I don't have to, e-fans are the only aftermartket electrical draw I have).

What's the correct belt length? I got some mixed information using the search, but the info was outdated. Hopefully someone has a solid answer by now. I'd prefer to have all of the right parts ready for the install. Buying decent belts locally at a reasonable price is hard.

Here are the belts for the stock 105A alternator:
- Accessory Belt w/ Crank only: Gates K060895 AC Belt: K040345
- w/ Crank & Alternator Pulley: Gates K060900 AC Belt: K040345

Will they be different with the 145A alternator?

Thanks!

So you're using the K060900 with the 145A alternator, underdrive crank pulley, and overdrive alternator pulley?

If I don't use the overdrive alternator pulley that would mean I'd need a longer belt, theoretically. Of course the K060900 still might fit.

i have a gates 060895... sorry it took me so long to look. the shorter belt is neexed with an overdrive alt pulley due to the smaller diameter. what you have posted is backwards

Thanks! What I have posted was copied from ASP. I sent them an email about it.

Probably get away with the stock length belt. I had to go to a 1 inch longer belt wwith the 145 alt and the underdrive pulleys usually want an inch or so smaller belt.

From what I can dig up, the stock belt for a 105A alternator is around 92.3" long. ASP recommends a 90" belt with the underdrive crank pulley and stock alternator pulley, 2.3" shorter than stock. I'm curious how much play in belt length the stock tensioner allows for?

Just did the install today. Powerbond pulley and a new 145A alternator on eBay for $90. I used a 90" Gatorback belt, perfect length. This belt also worked with the stock alternator.

was the 90" belt used with the alt pulley as well?

I'm getting the crank/alt kit as well and that gates number is a 90 5/8" belt, so I was curious on that
and for the A/C....did the belt they listed work? do you have a tensioner on yours or was it a stretch belt?

old bump I know
