auto column shifter

Never tried an s10. I have a guy on here that picked me up a manual Silverado shell in Dallas. There is another one in Houston if anyone needs one. It is local pickup only though.

hey guys. the s10 manual clam shell does work. or for the w/t with manual transmission. i can find the part number if you need it. they only come black so you will have to use SEM interior paint to match it. i can take a pic of mine if you want to see.

also yes remove the torx bolts to get rid of the shifter linkage. have to pull the carpet to get the cable out of the truck.

So I was able to get the shifter mount out the other weekend figured i would share it. Sadly the 2003 clam shell i bought does not work on my column. The blinker lever hole is angled differently by a smidge and when trying to matte the top and bottom it is short because of the top piece. So I can either try to find another one or just get a new column.

Either way to get the piece out you just need to knock a pin out from the bottom and it will slide out. I do not think you need to take out the three bolt to remove the plate.
