Armada vs Escalade
 

Hey guys, today I was on the interstate with the esky (its an 05) cruising at 75 mph. there was I beleive a nissan armada coming quick at me as I look at my rear view mirror. Well it was tailgatin me so I desided to speed up. I hit the gas but I didnt go wot. revved up to like 4000 rpms i think. well I was around 95 mph and he was still on my ass and then he switched lanes and passed me fast. I mean FAST. I didnt feel like racing or anything, besides it aint my car, its my moms. So does anybody know what those run? I didnt think they were any quicker then the escalades, but now im not sure. The reason im bringing this up is because my friend has an armada and he swears he will smoke me. He was willing to race for money. But once again this aint my car. He thought I was using that as an excuse. :bang: well wich is the faster suv? The Escalade or the Armada? oh forgot to metion, my mom has some HEAVY 22s on the escalade, I compared them to the stockers and the 22s are so much heavier. how much do they affect the performance?
on a side note, i discovered that if a baby it at around 60-65mph i can get 17mpg out of it. :D

The PAthfinder Armada runs the 305 hp engine.

the guy probably matted his truck while you were were at part throttle. The Nissan 305 hp engines do work good. The Pathfinders dont handle very well at all.

All I know for some that big and heavy they are pretty quick! You wouldn't think something like that would run low 15's stock.

Whats an 05 Escalade run in the 1/4? I thought they were 15's maybe low 16's? Sounds like Mom needs a 100 shot.

or the Esky driver to actually open teh throttle 100%.
