Since the trucks always came with the black bumper cap, they should have came with the black valance anyways.

Don't know for sure, but thats the only thing I could think of that would make them different. For an 04 model, 12499673 is the part number, but for an 06, 17802547 is the part number.

yeah, kinda odd. I think that the kit for the '06 has a black valence. We've sold a few sets, but I cannot remember off-hand what color they were. Ill order a kit this monday and let everyone know........hopefully by wednesday or so.

I got my foglamp kit installed tonight after work at the dealer, on a hoist (thankfully). I have to say, even though i've only had the truck for 4 weeks, it's the best money i've spent on it, besides gas. The valence is black and it's a plug/bolt on and play deal. The install went very smooth and easy. I was very impressed that the kit came with everything.....bolts, nuts, switch, harness, clips, everything. I would suggest getting a kit if you like the factory lamps. The price tag is very reasonable considering everything.

The valence is the same as the cap, molded black with the textured finish. It is a really good kit for the money, I could not be happier. I will try and post some pics in a day or two.
