MANY things can cause this. For one, could be a bad ABS module as stated. Bad speed sensor will also do this. Does the speedo bounce around at all while driving? Bad wheel speed sensor. If it had a gear swap and wasn't retuned it can cause this. I don't think you will find any codes for the ABS/BRAKE lights.

The speedo does not bounce around. I dont think it has had a gear swap but I could get the back end in the air and measure.

Find a code reader that can pull ABS codes. If the lights on, there is a code.

If the code says faulty relay its your module, otherwise it will complain about a particular wheel or brake sensor.

Have you checked Autozone and Oreillys? Some of the scanners they use and loan out can pull abs codes.

What if all the wheel speed sensors test good, so you throw a EBCM only to find out it was a stuck valve in the BPMV or a bad connector going to one of the speed sensors.

Pull the codes sir.

Thanks. I will get codes pulled, check everything this weekend, if I still dont have an obvious candidate I will probably swallow the $50 and let the dealer pull the codes for me.
