so from what ive read on the 99/02 silverado headlight mod all i have to do is cut the yellow wire and run a ground from the bulb side and when i click on my high beams the low beams will stay on so i ran the ground off the bulb side of the yellow wire and when i click on the high beams the low beams will stay on but after 30 seconds or so the high beams click off any input on why ??

weird... that worked fine for me. they come back on? no fuse blown? good connections everywhere?

I used a wire tap on the yellow wire, and ran it to a bolt under the air box, works perfect
