You should include far more information than that, we have no idea what this is in or what else is done to it.

Is it stock?

What year vehicle?

And codes?

Do you have a scan tool?

Did you tune it for the swap? Lots a parameters need to be changes when doing a motor swap like this.

Vacuum leaks?

Thanks for the reply. I am very new to this, as for the missing info- 02 suburban 1500 4x4 , air filter and cat back exhaust. Ordered new pcm, still waiting
runs steady @1000rpm or higher but once I let off the gas it drops below 500 and dies.

pcm needs to relearn the idle, very slowly lift off the gas until it idles

it might take a few cycles slowly lift it will die restart slowly lift repeat

but it might not idle smooth depending on whats done to the engine

the code are

P0443
Purge Control Valve Circuit Malfunction
P0300
is random misfires

misfires could be plugs, wires, coils, coil packs plugged in wrong, fuel pressure or even the pcm has the wrong flash? my sons pcm was flashed for DBW and his setup is DBC it would start and idle fine real smooth but if we rev'd the engine it would bust up and misfire had to send it back and get it reflashed for DBC

the purge valve lines get brittle might have a leak or somethings not connected?

Thanks for the info
is there a way to check if it was flashed for DBW or DBC?

check with who flashed it they should know? you can have some one with tuning software plug into it and look it over or maybe someone with a fancy scan tool might be able to check?

are you using your stock pcm and do you know what year flash they installed on it?
