You can get a new SS Camaro for that much

I didn't know the V8 Colorado's were on the lot yet.

i spec'ed out a 2wd z85 with leather and the 5.3 but i quit adding options at 26 sticker. IMO that is the most i would spend on a midsize truck. We got a white z71 with everything and it stickered for 33K. WOW a lot of money for a lil truck. but could be fast???

Drove one today! It is so much smoother than my 2500HD it's sick!

It felt like the power was there but, the computer was holding it back some. The computer didn't feel as bad as the new fullsize trucks but, you could tell.

The truck I drove was a ECSB 2wd(non sport) and I liked it, would definitely get a CCSB though as the extended area is useless with two adults up front. It had 3.42 gears but, accelerated well on the highway and even from a dead stop(sales guy didn't care. ) I bet with some 4.10s it would rip pretty good.

Keep in mind the non-sport has like 30" tires and the ZQ8 has 27" tires...so that would probably make a pretty big difference in acceleration. Also the non-sport is a bit heavier due to torsion bar suspension.
