4.3 to 5.3 swap?
 

Hi everyone,

I have been thinkin about swapping out the 4.3L for a 5.3L in my 03 silvy. My main question is if I do this, will i have to swap the transmission as well or can I use the one thats in it now? Im not too experienced with this sorta stuff so any help would be appreciated.

To answer your main question- you can use the stock V6 transmission, it wont last very long depending on how you drive it but it can be used
