4.11, 4.30 or 4.56 for 05 Escalade EXT 2wd 4l80e

2 of my trucks are 4.10s with 80es.. I dunno. The highway aspect sucks if you want to do high speeds but that's the 4L80e for you... short .75 overdrive and it's diddly 2.48:1 first. I run a 245/75/16 on the one and it still not impressive or stout off the bottom even with a converter and it's going to weigh about the same as that escalade. Even in saying that I only turn around 2800 at 80 mph so really.. It's not terrible. I geared my 05 from 3.73 and only went to 4.10 as with 9.5" you have no 4.30 option. If I wanted a larger tire 4.56 would have been okay but 4.10 worked. It was a noticeable gain but more gear would be better. Personally I want to 6L90e swap my 04 (80e and 4.10 currently with a 32" tall tire) and the 4.10 would be about right at that point... with a low first gear and way more overdrive.

6L90 swap? I've thought about this. Using the aftermarket tcm?
