should be a fairly straight-forward swap, right? i haven't seen a write-up of this on the net and nobody in my area has actually done it.

 

You'll be better off if you went with a vortec 454. The TBI's have penut port heads and will hardly get out of their own way.

 

That tbi was the weak link if you wanted more horsepower. I don't know if this will be deleted but try www.tbichips.com. Look at "good tbi mods". He has a lot of good info but since he is a non-sponsor that might get taking out. Not really in competition with any of our sponsors though.

I liked my 94 tbi. Its torque down low knocks these ls1's to the ground.
