1320Wheels 15" rear conversion brackets

Just a tech tip/friendly reminder
The brake bleeders MUST always be bleed in the 12 o’clock position
If your mounting bracket “angles” the bleeder, bleed the brakes off the brackets in the aforementioned position and then install them on the brackets. This will ensure all air is removed from braking system

Vacuum/power bleeding will only work in the 12 o’clock position as the bleeder will be oriented at the “highest” possible position on the caliper, and that is where air wants to be. If the bleeder was facing the 6 o’clock position you would only get fluid and no air because air rises.
You can power bleed bleed with the caliper clocked between 11-1 but anything else begins to trap air in the highest section of the cailper
Calipers are designed to have the bleeders in the highest section of the fluid passage regardless if the bleeder is vertical or horizontal in the caiper

Hey guys,
i’m sorry for reviving this old thread, but I’m going through the rear drum to disc conversion right now on my NNBS and I have searched the internet and this site.
The instructions are pretty vague at best.
is it fair to assume that I should use red Loctite on the caliper brackets?
what torque value should I use on these brackets?
Lastly, The brake lines that were hooked to the old wheel cylinders have a male threaded fitting. The new calipers have a female thread on them but the factory male fitting will not screw into it because it’s a different thread pitch.
1320 said to buy new banjo bolts, I did that and they are not the same thread.
What do I do now?
