I would use it myself as I did when I converted my 05. It ties the dash of the truck to the console to keep if from squeaking and being able to move independently. Not to mention lines it up properly.

Part number I can't tell you, and I am not tearing either of my trucks apart lol.

Just make a preliminary order with GMPD and they will want to check your selections. Then you get the part number out of them. Or just go to a dealership.

I found it on a zoomed in pic. It's 15118821 and costs about $20.

I picked up my bracket today. I guess the 99-02 have one hole missing in the dash, so I had to drill one. I was a little off on the first try, so I just used a zip tie to keep it keep it secured in the oversized hole. This is good info for anyone doing this in the future.

It mqy be a long shot but does anybody have this part who wants too sell? Shows discontinued everywhere i look

That thing is so rare. Cost me $60 with the rubber mat and the only one I see on eBay right now is $150

I got the full 03+ console and that bracket at LKQ for $30 dollars. I just attached the bracket to the console as a unit before checking out. Bought the glovebox surround at the same time $16
