'02 1500 Build Ideas???
Hey guys.
I was given a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 with the Z71 package in 2011 as my first vehicle. Recently, it has met with catastrophic failure. The transmission case cracked, (junk 4l60s!!!) and a rod blew through the engine block, which was surprising to me because it is N/A, and runs ~55-60 PSI @ 2k rpms.
Needless to say, this truck has a special place in my heart, as it got me through both high school and college and never let me down until now.
I want to do a complete build. Engine, trans, axles, wiring, the whole deal.
What direction do you guys think it should go? I want to stay N/A, and I will be doing pretty much all labor short of machining and tuning.
Other than that, let me know what you guys think!
