Default 01' Silverado, gauges work intermittently?

The truck sits for 3-5 weeks at a time. It always starts right up, never gives me any issues. Lately, only the fuel gauge and charge gauge work. If I snap the throttle, the tach will usually jump. Sometimes I jump in the truck and everything works, other times not.

Loose ground somewhere maybe? Or?

Gauge's on these trucks are known to act up.they probly will stop working completly in the future . Either rebuild it or get a new/old one.

I wasn't aware that the older 99'-02' trucks had issues... thought it was just the 03'-up with stepper motors. I guess I can swap in my factory cluster. I installed a good used Denali cluster in it about two years ago.

Any known good sources to rebuild my Denali cluster?
