Just my 2 cents, when I found one it was way overpriced, in terrible condition and I had to spend about 500 just in parts to rebuild it, one of which was the rear case half which had egg shaped the rear output shaft bearing housing oh and the main shaft had its splines twisted off. If I were to buy one again, I would go with a already rebuilt one from ebay, preferably with some sort of warrantee. If you don’t go that route ask lots of questions about its condition and ask for pics... As far as the input for a 4l80e talk around to local machineist you might find one who can re-spline it, I of course didn't do that and paid for it bigtime, then met a guy who could have done it like ten minutes from my house. Anyways good luck!
