WTB: Full rotating assembly from 4.8L
#1
Any of you guys inching up from your 4.8L to a 382 or something, I'll take that pile of parts in the corner of your garage collecting dust.
I'm looking for the 4.8L 83mm crankshaft, long rods and pistons. I don't need the bearings or anything.
I know shipping would probably cost about $100 or so, so I'll offer $200 since I can actually get a complete running 4.8L locally for about $220-230 with a ton of miles. All parts would be machined down to perfection anyway so mileage doesn't matter as long as they are in good shape.
EDIT: oh and preferably automatic transmission but I can make either work.

Damn for the extra 30 I would by the ones you could get, if they are being machined. Tons of miles means they have been tested.... I have a almost complete 4.8 but want more then that for it.

I totally see where you're coming from and that would usually be the logical thing to do, I just don't want ANOTHER motor laying around the garage.
