RARE 87mm 4 bolt NBS Intake

3 Attachment(s)
I picked this up a while back because I thought it was pretty unique. It's the first and only one iv ever seen. It came off an 07 truck. It's the same intake that comes on 99-06 trucks, but the unique part about it, is that it has a 87mm TB openening like the NNBS intakes found on 07-13 trucks.

This means, if this intake is swapped onto a nbs truck (99-06) you can retain all the factory nbs fuel rail, regulator (if equipped), and injectors but still have a big 90mm TB and not the measly 78mm TB that the regular nbs intakes use.

It's in perfect shape, and is bare. I can dress it with what ever is needed. I have injectors, map sensor, fuel rails (both return less and return style), cable 90mm tb, and I also have a NNBS dbw 87mm TB.

Asking $150 shipped for the bare intake. Feel free to call or text me at 864-542-6558 thanks!

Does it have a part number on it?

Also, what dbc throttle body do you have? How much for both?

mmmm.........anyone know how much of the bump in power with the NNBS intake over the NBS is due to the throttle body size as opposed to the flow through the rest of the intake? Wondering if this would show any performance improvement over my NBS intake similar to the NNBS or TBSS intake.....

That's not entirely the same.

Right off the bat I can see it's missing the Evap solenoid port.

Yep that's a intake from the SSR trucks. Been brought up a few times on here. Good little upgrade for the older trucks with the 78 intakes. Don't think it's any better then a nnbs intake though. Someone buy it and dyno test the two lol.

Will this be completely plug and play for my 2004 4.8 with the dbw throttle body

is it equivalent to the nnbs/tbss?

i just installed mine today replacing a 02 normal pickup intake....i dont have any dyno or track times but my OLSD tune is pretty dead on so i imagine if theres power ill see the difference in my tune. im installing my coilovers today also so as soon as thats done ill be able to go for a ride.

I just installed mine this morning, from a 3 bolt early truck intake the fuel rail mount height is taller, and the bolts that go to the head are taller, but you can just cut the rubber isolators off your old bolts and they will work. they are still a little wrong on size but they seem to work. i had lost about half the original ones.
the tb i used was a $90 ebay dbw 102mm one.
