Procharger D1SC for sale

Selling my procharger D1SC and upgrading to an F-series. The serial # is 29783 and it is about 2 1/2 years old. I originally bought it to put on a different vehicle, but ended up selling that vehicle and never installed it. I decided to put it on my truck instead, so in April 2009 I sent it to procharger to have the oil slinger re-clocked to the 12 o’clock position ( in the last picture you can see the rivet hole from the previous tag placement). It’s seen less than 100 road miles, since apparently I like working on my truck rather than driving it. The procharger shaft and bearings are still “brand new tight” when you spin it. Comes with the 3.4" 6 rib pulley in the pictures. $1,750 FIRM.

How much more money would make this a complete kit?

All I have is a box of miscellanous parts from the original kit, 6rib belt, FMU, pro flow BOV, the bracket without the spacers and bolts, various couplers and clamps, manual and parts list which I will sell with it for $50. You'll have to get the rest of the parts from procharger or the kit from them without the head unit.

If I knew what all was needed to run on my 04, I would be all over this.

You would probably need a high flow fuel pump, an intercooler, IC piping, BOV, and the bracket to fit on an 04, ect...

Suddog 02-13-2011 01:30 PM

so about $2500 more to get this thing spinning?

I think it will take way less than $2500 plus the price of the unit to get it running.

Mangled03gmc 02-13-2011 04:44 PM

Bump for a great deal. FUK that thing is MINT.. I would have been all over this man, but just picked up one last week...

jschrock 02-13-2011 06:15 PM

I'd love to buy it, but I am looking for a whole kit.....unless someone on here has everything else they are wanting to sell to make it work..:burnout:

KDavis04ss 02-13-2011 10:54 PM

This is a NICE head unit at a great price. I think anyone wanting to get into FI would be dumb not to buy this. About $350 for intercooler and bypass valve on ebay and another $420 from procharger for the bracket. you would have $2500 in the whole kit. I would be all over this if I didn't just get a D1 from Rick last week.

blown02408 02-14-2011 05:16 AM

I'd like for this thing to find a good home, If I still have it come late March I'm bolting it back on and seeing exactly how fast this thing can spin.

Suddog 02-14-2011 05:37 AM

I am emailing Procharger now to see what all is required, and if they have a kit I can buy to get this off your hands.

Suddog 02-16-2011 01:07 PM

Here is what Procharger said :(

The bracket would be $450. The intercooler would be $699 - $962 depending on
if you want the 2-core or the 3-core version. The intercooler piping would
be roughly $500. You'll need to call in to the tech line (913) 338-2886
Mon-Fri between 8:30 and 5:30 Central time to order the parts.
That would put me well beyond my budget...:bang:

Free bump for you.

I love procharger, but in all honesty they are a bunch of fukn crooks when it comes to the shit they sell, parts.. You can buy brackets for well bellow that.. Buy a IC from frozen boost, and misc piping from treadstone performance... It will take some thinking to put one together, but will be a bad ass kit for cheap once you get it all together..

02'Z71ONDUBZ' 02-16-2011 01:38 PM

You can get an intercooler off ebay for $120 that will mount between the frame rails, and you can pick up misc intercooler piping and couplers as well for probably around the same. You could have a FMIC setup for $300 or less for sure.

Also, you will probably have better IAT's going this way over the horizontal mounting style procharger uses.

Agreed.. This IC came with mine. I am willing to be it was a ebay IC. But surprisingly it is a well made part, has help up great for 2 years now..

Unfortunatley I live on an island and all parts will have to be mail order. Pieceing and parting ends up with a lot of money spent and a whole lot of frustration and my welder is not set up for Aluminum yet :bang:

If anyone has a link to a cold side kit for one of these, please send it to me. This takes the guess work out of fabing up a kit. I appreciate all the info I can get.

The procharger cold side piping is actually made of coated steel and theres only two simple L bends the rest is rubber elbows. Unfortunately I cut those two pieces up that I had.

I have the bracket for it, but I'm using it as a guide to drill the holes in my new bracket right now. As soon as I'm done with it I'll put it up for sale also and also see if I can get the rest of the bolts and spacers for it.

zachm89 02-17-2011 12:17 PM

not to jack the thread but i have brackets for the 99-03 kits that i do not need...they will also work with the 04-06 trucks, just have to move a couple of things around because the head unit sits slightly lower. anyone who buys this head unit hit me up, ill make you a deal on the brackets!
