I'm talking with two guys right now, one who wants the engine w/out the cam and the other one want the cam so basically I already got somebody who wants the cam if the other guy buys the engine without it.
I rather not mess with the spring removal though.

Whats up with the valve covers?
I thought all lsx motors had center line bolt patterns

 

97-98 Ls1's had perimeter bolt valvecovers.
