Default Isky JFR 218 Camshaft

Selling a JFR 218/218-112 turbo camshaft custom ground by isky and spec’d by stock4.8. I ordered this cam for an LQ4 build that I didn't end up finishing, as I ended up with a Thompson Motorsports engine instead. I installed it on into a short block on the stand, but no other valvetrain was installed and it obviously wasn't run. Ordered late last year for $425, looking to get $280 shipped.

Lift is .570”/.570. Im not sure on the advance, as I don’t have the cam card anymore. This is a slightly higher duration version of the triple 12. I’ll check into it and get back with you.

Size wise how does everybody think this would do in a 5.3? I know you said it was for your lq4 build.

I am currently running a GT2-5 cam this is a 222/222 - 112 and has .566 lift. I didn't know how much to expect from a better "turbo" cam especially down low. These sound to be very close in specs.

For what it’s worth, I ran a sdpc Ht1 in my 4.8 and did not lose any low end power (slight gains actually). That cam is 214/218-111 with .560ish lift. I’m fairly certain you would gain some power down low vs your existing cam, but to what extent I’m not sure. Stock4.8 may be able to help you out as he was very helpful specing this cam for me.
