FS: HP Tuners software kit, 99 model years

I have been tuning my brothers truck/engine recently but am in need of some cash to mod my own ride ( turbo ).
Version 1.5 software, cable, and box. Works great, awesome support from HP on their website. Checkout www.hptuners.com for more info, they are also a site sponsor ----------------->.
This is the single year software, 99 models ONLY. It includes the OBDII scanner software that works on ANY OBDII GM vehicle ( used on my wifes 03 Trailblazer no problem ). Saves you a trip to Autozone or the dealer if SES codes pop on.
New $509 shipped, will sell for $300 shipped OBO to the lower 48 states. If you are outside the US or in AK/HA, please contact me and we'll work out the shipping details.
Thanks for looking!

Back to the top again, anyone interested? Price is now $300 shipped. Version 1.5 with 1.6 on the way.
This is the single vehicle model so again only good on 1999 truck models. And no, HPT will not upgrade to two model for free, thus the near half price reduction for mine.

I may be interested. Is the 1.6 the newest version?

ktmrider 01-11-2005 07:50 PM

1.6 is/will be but not quite released yet. Not sure of the upgrades but you can check out the website at www.hptuners.com for more info. Thanks for the interest!

I would defintly like to have HPT. How much power do you think you can pull out of a basically stock 5.3?

With VERY careful tuning you could realize up to 30 HP. I will say this tho, unless you are doing cam/head type of mods the software might be a little overkill. You can get decent results with a Hypertech/Superchips/Predator if you don't plan to go wild on engine mods. You can probably pick up a used programmer for around $150-$200 here or on eBay for the 99 model year trucks.
That said, my current asking price of $300 is still cheaper than most new programmers. Just don't want to see someone buy the software and not be able to really use it to potential.
