FS: Forged SBC 383 stroker shortblock
I have a SBC 383 that I've pulled out of my 1999 Tahoe, and I'm putting it up for sale as I'm doing a Gen III swap.
This 383 stroker has a 1 piece rear main seal, provisions for roller cam, with 4 bolt mains.
The forged crank and rods are from the company that assembled the engine, Speed-o-motive.
Probe forged pistons, .030" over, 20.4 cc dish on them.
Mahle piston rings, file fit
Clevite 77 Main and Rod bearings
Moroso blueprinted oil pump
Oil pan, oil pan pickup
Flexplate
Damper
You can basically drop it into your truck or car, put a good top end on it, and go. It was built with boost in mind, but would make a good NA engine too.
$2000 OBO, looking for cash.
I have other parts, like the complete intake manifold, distributor, water pump, shorty headers that I'm also going to be selling. If you have questions, just ask.
