yes it was installed but for a short period of time and it worked very well.

does it come with everything need to run? did you have to buy anything extra when you bought the gauge?

yes it comes with everything you need to run. The only thing I dont have is the little black platic cup that comes with the gauge which you can probably get from autometer for pennies. but other than that yes I have everything you need
