Is it safe to run the spare 16x4 rims up front?

 

Yeah, they are a steel wheel, 16" x 4"

I run the aluminum GTO spares with M/H skinnies on the vette (as everyone else does). I see 135 mph and some are in the 140's with no one ever reporting a failure. Its the spare tire that is always in question and some people run them anyway.

 

We just need to drop a stroker motor in yours !!!

i got the rears. fronts are all yours.

I will hold off another week to see if anyone decides to want the skinnies.
Otherwise I will just remount them on my new rims and keep running them.
