anyone here changed their maf sensor out with one from a z06?
Ive heard that they can help.

i did that. it seemed to gain a little up top but i got a mushy low end and a throttle response that was a little slow.

i heard just de-screen the one u have right now and get a tune. that will do....thats what i'm going to do when i get my custom tune.

don't descreen it. that will cause more problems than performance.

I think I read something about that on here a while back but I already took my screen off. Had a little problem once and I cleaned up the little wires w/ some carb spray.No more problems.

Does everyone here realize that the Z06 MAF and the stock truck MAF are they SAME THING ???....When GM put the a screened MAF back into the Z06 they used the SAME MAF that the trucks use

i already have my maf descreened. i havent had any problems so far. Its been this way for almost a year.
