lol where's Kroger gas... their gas is GREAT... lol not. They had the one local to me shut down for a few hours bc of testing... comes to find out that the reason for such cheap prices is bc Kroger cuts their gas with too much ethanol.

Cheveron w/ Techron... lol idk if THERE REALLY IS a "techron" but it makes me feel better... and ya, cheveron is way more expensive than most other places around here... everyone once in a great while they'll be a penny below everyone.

Yea techron is real. But what they add at the filling station isn't nearly as strong as the real stuff. I live in gasoline alley (south La.) and have worked in most oil refineries down here. Its all the same gas, but the different companies use their own additives (detergents) Its funny to look at the loading rack at the local refinery and see all different oil co. trucks filling up. In my opinion the best detergent in pump gas would be techron, but different detergents work better in different cars. Go figgure.

It is funny that Cheveron is on there but Texaco isn't considering they are the same company. We have a major Cheveron refinery here in Pascagoula and White is right, it is all the same gas that each company puts their own additives in. I believe Shell is good gas but they got a bad rap around here for an incident with too much sulfer in their gas eating up GM sending units. I primarily use either Cheveron, Texaco, Mobil, Exxon, Amaco or BP.

I worked at that chevron. Don't forget. Motiva includes Texaco and Shell. I didn't know Chevron was involved in it too.

I believe Texaco markets it as CleanSystem3. Shell copyrights V-Power.
