throttle body bypass
so what exactly is the throttle body bypass, i read people having it alot but what does it do, how does it work and where do you buy or create it?

The TB bypass just removes the engine coolant from circulating in the TB, this is must if you live in the south. As for components go by Homedepot, or Lowes and buy a 1/8 or 1/4" (don't remember which size) splice bard and 2 hose clamps. If you want you can buy to rubber caps and plug up the TB, if you don't want dirt clogging the ports.

can you post picture of where all this is going on, i have the cable driven TB and i dont see where the coolant goes in an out..? a little confused

There is a coolant line that connects to the TB then goes out of the TB to the motor. It is designed to keep the TB from icing up in cold weather. So basically people bypass the TB by connecting the line going to the TB to the line going to the motor. Before I did the mod after driving the truck for a while the TB was very hot and after the mod there was a noticable difference in temp it was much cooler. Some say it is good for a few hp, so say it doesn't help at all. I did it because it cost all of about $4.

I just discarded the hose from the tb to the head and connected the hose that was originally from the radiator to the tb, straight from the radiator to the head. This was after the e-fan though, so I don't know if I would have had enough slack with the stock shroud. Just another option though.

ALWAYS DO ON A COOL MOTOR. If you are going to put the splice between the two hoses you can use vise-grips or some other way to pinch off each hose before the tb, then disconnect from the tb and place together with the splice. The tb is going to spill what it has in it, but you shouldn't loose any from the motor or radiator. If you are going to try and run the hose straight from the radiator, well, just plan it out and do it quick as hell, and you shouldn't loose much either.
