well this started happening yesterday and its really pissin me off...ok i drive 20 miles to school every mornin...when my motor isnt warmed up yet the rpms are at like 2500 going 65mph...and then when my motor warms up good it drops to like 1900rpm, which means my converter locked up...But now when my motor warms up the piece of **** wont lock up and it stays at 2500rpms and wont go to 1900....wtf is wrong? also when im just takin off from a stop, when it shifts into 2nd gear it gets stuck, then i give it some more gas and then it catches the gear...BTW i have a yank 3200 stall...ever since i installed it ive had problems with it getting stuck between gears...but it always has locked up until lately....
btw if i put it at WOT it dont have a problem with getting stuck, only when i give it around 1/2 throttle...sorry for the long post....thanks!

how long have you had the TC? did you install it yourself? mine sometimes will lock and unlock at cruising speeds. it shift hard and sloppy from 1-2 and 1/2 throttle. but works sweet at WOT. how is your ATF level? was it added to the TC during the install?

I would still bet it's the plugs or wires since it just started happening. My converter did the same when I had a few plugs go out.
How long have you had all of those mods? Did you just add anything?

I would never get the ses light either. And it doesn't have to miss a lot for the converter not to lockup....I never noticed any "severe" misfiring either. However, when I had a plug foul really bad, I felt it and had the ses light go off.
I just checked in ls1edit, and the P0300 (random misfire code) only flashes the ses light on the second error...but it will keep the TC from locking up once the pcm gets the P0300 the first time.
So you may have set the P0300 code only one time. After so many drive cycles without getting the P0300 again, it should "clear" itself and start locking up. That is, unless you set it again before it clears, then it will flash the ses light.
