What's out there for a cheap dump style exhaust

Just about time for me to build my exhaust on the project truck. It's a street-ish/strip heavy truck. I have a set of long tubes for now, and some MagnaFlow large can mufflers. I'm going to run dumps before the axle.

Are there any in expensive X pipes / kits out there? I've seen the pypes kits, but for $250 I feel like I can make that cheaper my self. Is there an eBay kit people like. Literally just need from headers to an x and then 2 to 3 feet of straight pipe where I'll weld on the mufflers and turn downs. Don't need fancy, or good as this is just going to be on it until I turbo the truck.

Cheaper to do it yourself. I bought a piece of 3in straight pipe from summit and went right off my stock y pipe into a magnaflow and then a 3 inch turndown before the axle... sounded great. cost me like 100 bucks total

I will check out speed engineering. I have long tubes, that I want to run into an X pipe, and out to two magnaflows that I already bought, and then dump it with turn downs.

Summit and Jegs have generic DIY kits for under $100.

When I was about to buy my exhaust system before I decided to hold off due to bills, this was the x pipe I chose.

You can see in the "also viewed" section there are much cheaper versions of the same kind of x pipe

I usually piece my exhaust together from parts from eBay. I found a 3" y-pipe, a DMH electric dump, and a FLowmaster Hushpower 2 muffler and started welding it together, then wired it up. I added about 2 feet of pipe with a turn down after the electric dump. Everything sounds and looks great.

I ended up ordering some parts from summit. I got 3" ball flanges, and a jones exhaust universal X pipe, and some wire hangers. I already have a pair of 3" oval can magnaflows. I am going to grab some 3" pipes and bends from pepboys, and just weld something up my self. I'll have around $100 in it total. I will let you know how it sounds next weekend!
