6600 shifts, 6800 rev limit with a tr224. new mods....7000 shifts, 7500 rev limit maybe, depends on the dyno graph.

ehh i would be scared to do that with stock rod bolts luckly you put some stouter ones on yours... but dear lord on a stock bottom end i bet she would pop

I shift my 4.8 at 7k with a completely stock bottom end... Ihave been doing so for about 1.5 years... these blocks/componets are alot stronger than most people think, having the tune correct is the biggest thing...

im on a 212/218 and shifting at 6300.. heard these cams make power all the way to 6500 so u definitely need to raise shift points to 6200 atleast...

with my 221/221 i shifted around 6700 1-2 and 2-3

im suprised how high some are shifting

with my cam power peaked at 6100 but continued to have a pretty flat curve after that barely fell. im shifting at around 6400 and it pulls great

I guess im going to up mine to around 6500-6600ish and see what it feels like

mine was still making power at 6900, truck intake and all. it was pretty crazy

i cant imagine what it sounded like at almost 7k!
i know mine was howling at 6500 and you went def if the cutout was opened

I aint scared! shifts at 6600 cause my old peak was at 6400, and I picked up about 1.5 tenths 1/8th mile with 6600 vs 6200 on the same cam.
