I have a set of ASP underdrive pulleys im trying to put on.I had everything apart,and my Harmonic Balancer puller is different.There is no where to put the bolts.Its different than the ones off the older trucks.I have 2003 silverado w/ a 5.3L.What tool should I use?

 

3 prong gear puller works fine.

Go to AutoZone and 'borrow' a Chrysler balancer puller. The prongs hook on the inside of the pulley around the shaft. Feel around and you will find where. The rods that come in the kit go in the end of the screw to reach down inside the crank.

 

Good luck with that, I wasn't lucky enough to have an Auto Zone in my town. The dealer didn't even have the GM special "tool" they just used a 3 prong.

 

Go to Advance, buy the three arm puller made by am-pro. $25.
