friends told me to buy a spacer which helps out in the HP dept or is it just a gimmick? im gonna try and make a CAI with some PVC pipe and an Autozone rice filter, but i'll pass on the descreened MAF for now. as far as exhaust goes i might drop the 2.5" x-pipe from my Trans AM and put it on the chevy along with some dynomax bullets, what do you think of that setup? i know my T/A gained a lot over the y-pipe setup with the xpipe and just turndowns after that.

remove the cab and put snowchains on your tires for traction.

is there or can you remove anything on the suspension like swaybars to get some weight transfer at the track? i was looking around the forum and someone posted getting some shackles or clamps from autozone to eliminate wheel hop, what exactly is it? i would really like to see a 1.9-2.0x 60 ft on stock tires or it wont happen? anyone think the truck will break into the 14's? sorry for all the ?'s but just want to get some knowledge cuz being a newbie sucks.

anyone disconnect the swaybar at the track for better traction? doing this would usally bring my 60ft down from 1.9 to 1.7 on my car, dont know if its the same on the truck. also would gutting the cats void my warranty or set off any SES lights?
