what does the average stock 5.3 pull on a dyno?

Default what does the average stock 5.3 pull on a dyno?

hey guys,

i searched and searched but i could not find this info. does anyone know what the a stock 2003 5.3L would run on a dyno? i know all trucks can be different so is there an average?

My guess would be in the 230-240 range for a 2wd, and maybe 220-230 for 4wd.

So the 99 model would probably put down 215-220?

has to be a higher numbers. if you do the math. of what some trucks run with they have. it should be alot higher numbers. remember not all dynos are the same.

I saw it in a mag that a 2001 5.3 put down 222rwhp on a rolling dyno. It was a Sports Truck shoot and they were putting a Radix on it. They got i think 360-380 rwhp after the Radix but im not sure.

the funny thing is that these trucks put down more rear wheel HP than my last truck (94k2500) made at the flywheel
