Default What compression ratio?

I have a LQ9 6.0 and I was wondering what the compression ratio would be with a 64cc head? How do you figure up compression?

I don't know how to figure the ratio but it will probably be in between 10:1 and 10.5:1.

Well I believe the LQ9 has 72cc heads and 10:1 compression ratio so with 64cc heads I think you would be around 11:1 or maybe even a little higher.

I have been to 11:1 but then I was also told that a 59cc head would put at 11:1

Patriot Performance told me that a 66cc head on a LQ9 would put it at 11:1, there is some formula or something out there to figure it out I believe but I haven't found it yet.

the formula should be fairly inutitive to get close.

(head CC + 3.141*bore/2*headgasket thickness) /displacement per cylinder for a flat top piston will get you close. If you want to get closer, google it.
