Oh im sorry yes this is going in my new 2013 GMC. The plan is to put a 6.0L in it then later once i have the other things done to it like interior, tri 4link, C/F hood and tailgate then dive into the engine with a stoker kit and Holley mid-rise intake.

I can get the LQ4/862 or 706 heads, harness, front acc, motor mounts, computer and a few other things I might need to do the swap for $1000.00. Then while I have the bed off to build my tri 4link he gonna upgrade my fuel pump plus put the disc brakes for a small fee.

The 85 will get a 5.3L w/243 heads and a mild cam for my wife to drive. A nice lil cruiser to go to shows and such.

All the GMT-800 Denali’s ’01 thru ’07 Classic were equipped with LQ4 6.0L’s backed by the 4L65E transmission, except the ’05 thru ’07 Classic Sierra Denali’s, which did in fact come with the LQ9 and same aforementioned trans.

Are any years of the lq4 better than others? I will be putting it in my 05 Tahoe.
