Walbro in-tank reliability?

Those of you running your in-tank Walbro 255lph pumps....have they been reliable? I ask because I've had two Walbro inline pumps fail on me in two years, and I don't want to put a POS in the tank. I'm hoping that this problems is just related to the inline pumps, and not all of their products. Are all of you happy with your in tank pumps?

I ran a single in tank for well over a year with no problems. Been running the twin pumps over a year and so far so good

depending on where you buy your pump from, your Walbro may not be a real Walbro. There are some Chinese companies making copies that are almost exact(looking, not performing) down to the brand name etched onto them. If your inline fails again, I have a nice Aeromotive I'll sell you :)

I had a Walbro 255lph pump go bad on my Camaro within a year of installing it. I recently installed a Racetronix and so far so good.

Donno what's the underlying issue with the Walbros.........

Richard :)

Are there any other inline options other than the Walbro? Anyone know what the HP limit is for stock in-tank + inline?

There was a guy at Turbomustangs that made like 560whp on his stock pump plus a T-rex pump. Like I mentioned above, that Aeromotive is a good option for an inline pump.
