The bucket needs to be modded just a bit, then it will fit right in.. You just need to find a kit that comes with all the proper connections to get the wires through your bucket hat...

Thanks for clearing up the modification for me. Doesn't the texas speed kit have all the wiring and connectors..?

heres a quick right up
first get the sending unit out of the tank by removing the lock ring with flat head screwdriver and disconect fuel lines and plugs
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...6b286e693b.jpg
then i removed the float, so i didnt mess it up, its just snaped in plastic clips
then i disconected the plug on the underside of the sending unit and uncliped the wires from the the gas gauge float thing
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...eb1a6cf3e7.jpg
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...81d294a5ca.jpg
then i sepereated the bucket from the rest of the unit by the clips on each side, then disconect the pump harness and gas line on top. remove the sock filter and pull the pump out of the bucket and you will see a lip on the inside were the pump sat that has to be ground down for the walbro to sit down in for the sock filter to snap on

before
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...1a6c33547b.jpg
during
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...6fef42eb65.jpg
after
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...79a62b9e35.jpg

now the pump sits all the way in and the filter will fit on
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...a60b853364.jpg
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...fuelpump19.jpg

to hold the pump in i drilled 2 holes and ran a zip tie around the pump
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...b7a2703c52.jpg
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...87b6cb46c2.jpg

then i took the harness that came with the pump and the factory harness and cut and spliced them and heat shrinked them
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...8e854ef78a.jpg

then put the stock hose on the end of the pump and pluged the harness back in and set it down in the bucket
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...b3ad9dc87b.jpg
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...fuelpump18.jpg

then put it back down in the tank and turned the key...herd it prime up and fired it up
