So ur saying its a waist of money then?...ur boy has one and didnt like it or what?

If you have swap intake & tb to something bigger. I could see a reason behind it. If your still running stock stuff leave it be.

Stock intake and tb but tb is p&p

Your stock MAF is around 85ish & your tb is 78mm. So it's not going to pay to go bigger. Spend the money on some real power "cam" comes to mind. :)
Btw I like the paint job looks killer :thumb: |
Im thinking nitrous i seen a kit for 4bills...im thinking a cam next yr

X2 on waste of money. I pait about 350 for the granatelli MAF. It was junk and the oil from the K&N FIP II kit kept messign with the sensor.
On the NOS kit, just read up on how to stay legal with a N20 Kit. Cali has too many greenie laws. IF it was me I would just go FI but thats 10X the amount your lookingg to spend. |
The only time you need to replace the MAF is when it starts to become the restriction and I believe its good for somewhere in the 600 hp range. I had an idea the other day about using a duramax mass air sensor as it could be put into any size air tube going to the engine. It would most likely have to be rescaled to make it control the fuel correctly but it would no longer be a bottle neck in the intake.
