No real updates that help. Pushrod length is a littke long so ordered shorter ones but haven't got them yet. Im definitely changing out this Tick cam. Its too big for my setup. Either ill go back to my original 222/228 cam or look for one in between it and the Tick cam with less overlap. Im looking at a Howards 190375-12. Its a 224/230, 604/609, 112 with 3 degrees of overlap. Any thoughts on that cam?

look at something in the -4 to -1 overlap. More negative overlap = more low end.

Something custom for sure. Keep the intake and exhaust under 224 and it’ll feel better down low.

Now, I ran a Comp LSR 265 cam in my old 5.3 and that SOB was punchy and a torque monster off idle. It DID have +5 advance.

Depending on what sound you want, you could have a custom cam ground, 220/222 or 220/224 on a 108-110 lsa. It would be choppy and have good low-mid and it would carry to redline.

Yeah- second that. I just ditched my single 3" Denali cat back for 2.25" and flow master 70 and driveability and low down snap is back...…...
