Hey guys are there any truck only shootouts with pretty good turnouts? Joseph & I want to attend some truck events and we don’t even know where to go!!! I know about the one in Bowling Green, but this is its first year so I don’t know how many people to expect!>?>!>>!>!>?!??!

 

I believe some of the bigger truck magazines (Truckin', Sport Truck) have a truck show/drag race. I think one of them is @ Firebird Raceway Park, close to Vegas (roadtrip!! <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> ).

The www.454ss.com guys are having planning their second race event @ BG this fall, but the turnout looked low the first time.

And I think Carlisle has a big truck show in the summer, but I don't know if they race.

 

Thunder is talking about having a truck class at its event, but it's not until November. I'll make a point to drag ya in the ext. cab beast. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" /> You can check it out in Angie's post in the drag racing section.

 

The Sport Truck Shootout in Bg is actually on its third year if you count Cyberbrawl. It is the offspring of that event. There is a website for it www.sporttruckshootout.com I understand they are expecting a pretty good turnout this year, including some magazine coverage.
