Default Transgo installed!

Just wanted to thank all you guys for the info on the install. It went fairly smoothly till i was reinstallin the valve body, i had the 3-2 solonoid facing the wrong direction.. instead of sideways, i had it pointed straight up. and when i tighened the valve body, the connector part of the solonoid got pinned up against the case,, and when i tighened the valve body bolts all the way, the solonoid snapped in two! hahaha.. i cursed, then started laughin, cuz i realized how much of a dumb a$$ i am. anyway i was about to get in touch with my buddy at a dealer and he called one of the parts guys to come back (shop is already closed) to work, and he got me a solonoid. i got pretty lucky cuz it was about 6:30 and the parts guys were already home. but anyways i got everything back to gether by midnight. and i did a little strole around the block and everything feels nice and tight. ill give it a full run tomorrow. thanks again!

Glad you got it working. I'll be doing one of these installs pretty soon... thanks for the tip about the solenoid orientation.

Be sure to check the flud a couple of times, especially after it gets warmed up before you let it rip. All it takes is one good slip on those clutches and they are toast.

Which kit did you install and how hard does it hit. Been thinking about doing it to mine. I would like to be able to chirp the tires when it hits. Some people say if it hits to hard, the engines knock sensor compensates for it and retards the timing. Definitly don't need that to happen.

Not so much the knock sensors but I know it will break sooner if it shifts too hard. If I remember right he had the TransGo shiftkit, the good one.
