TRANS/HPP3

i've been having problems with the tranny lately not shifting into OD. well i didn't know what to do so i just took the HPP3 off and it is back to stock. well when i did this my check engine light came off and the trans is shifting perfect. anyone might know what is going on?????? so from now on i guess i'll just put the HPP3 when racing. also i already ordered my trans cooler to save my tranny. what might be causing this. is it my tranny is going out and cant' take the tuning.

Re: TRANS/HPP3

when i had my hpp3 on mine, the engine rpms would go down in 3rd gear while excelerating. dont know why it just did. but it always shifted into gear.
have you put a servo in?
if you have it might be wrong.
also do you have a shift kit?
what settings do you imput on the hpp3
shift firmness?
shift settings?
have you tried reinstalling?
its gonna suck having to down load that program everytime you want to race it just takes so dam long to upload.

Re: TRANS/HPP3

id call hypertech and tell them what is going on, they will probably send you a new programmer or something. it sounds like the program in the tuner is messed up, or maybe you have one for the wrong year

Re: TRANS/HPP3

no i don't have any work done to the transmission other than the stall. no shift kit, no servos. yeah i thought it was funny as well. the settings on the programmer were just at +2, +4, +6. and the shift firmness was on.
????????????????????????
