Re: traction bars
I have a pair and they do work..to some extent. They are about 30 bux, require no drilling, and take about 30 mins to install. All you need is a 9/16 wrench and deep socket. They are made for vehicles that have the leaf spring under the axle so they require longer u-bolts. Cost about 12 bux at hardware store.
For 30 bux they work real good. They don't get rid of all the tire spin but will help. I think they are worth it, especially until I can afford the Caltracs or something better. Lemme know if you want pics of the way look or install info |
Re: traction bars

Re: traction bars
i too have them. they work good to some extent. i think the more power you make the more their weakness will show. for now i can't complain, they're worth the 30 bux i paid. i get a little more wheel spin than zerog but i'm still on my stock tires which are also wearing out fast. like he said they were easy to install and do the job until you can afford some good traction bars.
