TR 220 cam is in and doing well...

This was done on my 2002 Z71.

I thought I would try this cam over the ZO6 cam instead for you guys:) ZO6 cam is to popular. The install went great, only took around 4 hours. Driveability is great. Nice lope at idle. I have to delete P0300 (misfire) code tomorrow. Also, I had to drill out the TB to get the IAC counts back down to 30 with A/C off. When I first started the truck the IAC counts were around 105 with the A/C off. Must bump the idle up to 650 or 700 rpms. I might be able to dyno the truck tomorrow as well.

Mods so far:

TR220 cam on a 112 lsa
ASP underdrive
K&N FIPK
Mezier electric water pump
Electric fans
AS&M headers (!CATS)
Gibson cat back
Billet servos
Transgo shift kit
4.10 gears
Rancho 4 inch suspension lift
16x10 Classic 2's
MT 33x11.5 tires
Tahoe grille with putco speed inserts
Sir Michael's rollpan

This monday the Yank TT3000 is going to be installed.

I will come back with more results.

Thanks,
Sean

Awesome.. I also have that PO300 code I need to take care of.

Instead of deleting the code, you should multiply the low/idle rpm misfire tables by 200% until you don't get anymore misfire codes.

I agree; you really shouldn't just delete the codes.

What are the specs on that cam you installed?

Should work quite well.

I'm guessing 320-330rwhp with your setup :)

Another reason to adjust the tables .... If the PCM sees to many misfires, it won't lock the converter. Editing those tables will decrease the misfires it sees.

Flyer,

Thats good info! Im gonna go that route. Which table do yo have to edit?

Low RPM and idle RPM ... they are in the engine diagnostics bit.
