Default towing capable

What is the biggest bang for the buck to make my 02 5.3 a bit more torque happy? is this a good start? GM-12574519 - CAMSHAFT pardon my ignorance I only know aircraft and motorcycles only at this point.

Best bang for your buck towing wise would be a tune or gears.

This right here, assuming all else with the truck is stock. Actually a tune more so than anything, but a small cam with that tune would satisfy most people.

My truck with just tune, cai, efans, and catback with 3.73s tows roughly 5000lbs 3hrs each way pretty well. 4.10s would help in the bigger hills a little bit and same on takeoff, but not enough for me to change. I've added a cam in the last few months and I can tell for sure I won't ever feel underpowered now.
